History In his book "Business @ the speed of thought", Bill Gates talks about the Digital Nervous System. He talked about how back in the 1970s, the CEOs of big corporations had to order reports in order to analyse their business, and about his vision whereby these reports would be at the finger tips of all staff, all day, every day.
